Deep Expertise in Carbon Fiber and Thermoplastic Composites

Pufeng has long focused on R&D and manufacturing of carbon fiber and polypropylene composites, offering a one-stop solution spanning material R&D, process integration, prototyping, and mass-production rollout — with collaboration experience that includes the international brand TUMI. Compared with single materials, composites balance light weight, mechanical strength, and processing efficiency, making them a key direction for product innovation and process upgrades in sporting goods, luggage, and industrial components.

AI Agents Integrate Development Through Mass Production

The new plant will adopt AI Agent mechanisms to build a complete workflow from product requirements and material development to prototyping and mass-production validation. Before composites reach mass production, they typically pass through material selection, parameter tuning, sample prototyping, and performance validation. Through digital management, Pufeng can integrate information across every stage, build traceable development data, shorten development cycles, and improve prototyping efficiency — accelerating the move from R&D results to stable production.

Energy-Saving Equipment and Solar Power Drive Green Production

Alongside capacity expansion, Pufeng is building energy savings into the plant’s design: high-efficiency thermal insulation walls to cut air-conditioning energy use, boiler temperature controllers to improve energy efficiency, and solar power facilities to steadily raise the share of renewable energy — establishing a green manufacturing model that balances productivity, energy management, and environmental responsibility.

Meeting Global Brands' Sustainable Supply-Chain Requirements

As global brands place growing emphasis on ESG and carbon-emissions management, suppliers must maintain quality and delivery while improving energy efficiency and process transparency. By building smart manufacturing and decarbonization into this investment, Pufeng improves internal operating efficiency and strengthens its overall competitiveness in meeting international brands’ supply-chain requirements.

Creating 40 Domestic Jobs

The investment is expected to create 40 domestic jobs, driving demand for talent in material R&D, manufacturing, quality management, equipment management, and operations support. Through talent development, process standardization, and knowledge transfer, Pufeng will build more complete R&D and production teams — laying a foundation for the upgrading of Taiwan’s composite materials industry.
