To meet growing demand for carbon fiber and thermoplastic composites, Pufeng New Tech Materials plans to invest about NT$270 million in a new plant in Dongshi District, Taichung, expanding capacity, strengthening R&D, and creating an estimated 40 domestic jobs. The project has been approved under the Ministry of Economic Affairs' InvesTaiwan "Action Plan for Accelerated Investment by SMEs." The plant will adopt AI Agents, energy-saving equipment, and solar power as Pufeng shifts toward smart manufacturing and green production.
